Followed the instructions in the pdf & managed to get the texture/material right somehow.
& then i got bored finishing early, so i played around with the colours...
& the values for the planar mapping thing.
So then i ended up with this!
Then here's the part about the washboard.
I believe my eyesight is so extremely powerful to the point that i can actually see the values in the above image taken from the pdf.

Or...more like i actually just randomly entered in values for some fields.
